It's that time of year again All the hustle bustle of Christmas shopping, socializing with friends, and of course, eating lots of goodies.....   TIME TO DO SOMETHING FOR YOURSELF   ATTENTION ALL DANCERS   LVS2DNC.PARTY IS BACK   DECEMBER 30, 2011 7-10:30 PM DECATUR MOOSE LODGE 3190 N. WOODFORD ST DECATUR, IL   Music by Dancin' DJ Marilyn Ferry I will play music for all types of dances and announce different varieties of dance that can be done to many of the songs. The theme for this February 18 will be " The Un-Valentines Dance". FRIDAY NIGHT FLASH...GEORGE & SANDY WASHBOND TEACHING @ how2dnc.country

Dancers Don't Miss Out:   ALERT.....George and Sandy Washbond are teaching Friday night December 9th at the Decatur Moose 3190 N. Woodford for how2dnc.country. Name of the dance is Baby Doll Waltz to the song by Lisa Brokop called "Shake Me, I Rattle" on CD Christmas for the 90's, Vol 3. This dance is a 48 count 2 wall beginner/intermediate line dance. . The lesson starts at 7:00.   Our scheduled dates for the first quarter of 2012 will be Jan 6, Feb 17, March 2 & March 16. Mark these on your calendars so you can share this great time of dancing.   Jacksonville County Line Dancers are having their Christmas Dance on December 17. Last month we had 28 dancers travel together to join them for a fun time of celebrating life on the dance floor. Talk about the plans this Friday. Week of Nov 14 Millikin Lessons, Donnie B's Lessons, how2dnc.country Moose Decatur

Greetings Dancers:   Just a little lineup for the coming week as far as where I will be and what will be happening. Monday night lessons are really exciting. Dancing takes place in the Parquet Room on the lower level of Richards Treat University Center(RTUC) located in the middle of the Millikin Campus in Decatur. We are there at 6:30 for anyone who has questions or wants to review a dance or just fun around. Line dances are taught from 7-8. Next we spend an hour learning and practicing West Coast Swing. Most of the students are sooo very excited about learning a new dance as interesting as West Coast Swing. Our main objective is to have fun while we are learning. Anyone and everyone is welcome no matter what your level of experience. The cover charge is $5 for the evening.   Tuesday night I will be at Donnie B's located in Springfield at the Dog House. From 7-8 we do as many Line Dances as we can do. I personally believe that these dances help you to raise you level of dancing in a very unique manner. Try it...you might be pleasantly surprised. Then from 8-10 the floor is open to whatever the attendees enjoy and desire. I have a good mix and am flexible with our agenda. West Coast Swing is a thread throughtout the evening. Cover charge is $5 for the evening. I will mention that we will probably be meeting on Thursday nights instead of Tuesday starting December 8. I will send out another email etc. but mark your calendars now.   This Friday, Nov 18, I will be at the Moose in Decatur for the how2dnc.country event from 7-10. Taco Salads or Chicken Strips are served to you in the room where we dance. The bar is open to everyone. George and Sandy will review the dance you all liked  so much, Here For A Good Time, and if time allows I will teach a Line Dance called Dreams done to Quando Quando. We always have a good time and I appreciate all of you coming together to celebrate the gift of Dance. A special thanks to each and everyone of you. Bring your treats to share if you like. Greetings West Coasters: Thought you might like to see two of the pros that I highly respect. These people are the best and they really enjoy the dance. Each of us will enjoy it in our own way, but I have decided to enjoy the journey. I want to commend you all for your hard work, attention, and determination to learn a new dance. Take time to remember a moment when you felt something correctly. That is how the successful journey of learning the dance works. Each of you had moments because I experienced them with you. If you are coming from the West on 72, I suggest that you take the second Decatur exit which is Rt 121. Turn left and head into Decatur on Pershing. Go a ways, under a viaduct, and past Cub Foods to the light and turn left. It is about a half a block on the right side of the road with a sign. Just buzz to get in where I have a sign. My phone is on if you need to call me for more directions. Of course, we will have a lesson at 7:00. Show up at 6:00 for Taco Salad or Chicken Finger Dinner  and drinks from the bar. The dance room will be open so you can eat in there. No membership necessary. If you enjoy snacking on treats, you are encouraged to bring them and share if you like. I look forward to spending time with all of you on the dance floor and I enjoy your company and friendship. Remember that we have a really nice spacious wood dance floor with lots of room for whatever dance you choose to do. There is a $6 cover charge per person. Greetings Everyone.....Yes it is time to get together on the dance floor at the Decatur Moose for some good dancing and chatting. I am so pleased to let you know that our very own George and Sandy Washbond will be teaching us a really nice dance Line Dance. We all really appreciate their teaching. See you Friday at 7:00. Come at 6:00 if you want to eat their good food. Remember that you do not need to be a member to eat, drink and dance with us. We have a birthday to be celebrated with CAKE!!! See you Friday. Marilyn :) OKay!!!! It has been Long Enough!!!     Missing All of You a LOT. What Can We Do About It? A LOT!!! Here are the dates for the rest of the year.
