Thurs night Feb 16 Donnie B's Friday night Feb 17 How2Dnc.Country@Moose in Decatur!!!

Greetings Dancers
This is truly a very special message to all of you! I want to personally thank each and everyone of you for your enthusiasm, kindness, sharing your love of dancing, and willingness to learn, share and welcome others into the dancing community. I feel so blessed for our health and healing. Your love strengthens and nurtures me.

All that being said.....we have some dancing to be done. Thursday night at Donnie B's in Spfld. I will be teaching line dances from 7-8. Following the lesson time, from 8-10 we have a super fun time doing whatever dances work for us for that evening. I have to say I can tell we are all improving because we are dancing just for the sheer joy of it. We have had some good crowd participation also. Your dancing is very impressive.

This Friday night will be the first How2Dnc.Country since my return from my winter get away. We will have a lesson at the beginning of the dance from 7-7:45. Gary and Connie Mackling have graciously agreed to teach the Pattern Dance called Redneck Rose to the song Til a Tear Become a Rose. Many of you have requested that we teach this dance. Then we will dance until 10:00. This is called Country because priority is given to the Pattern Partner and Line Dances. That being said.....I encourage any and all of you to come. The music is by no means all country and there is a lead and follow dance that can be done to each and everyone of the songs played. The Moose in Decatur has a nice dance floor with plenty of room for all types of dances. You are welcome to bring snacks to share and the bar is open all evening to us. Membership is not required. The meal being served is Chili Mac if you get there early....like 6:00. If not, you can order pizza from the bar. It really is pretty good.

If it sounds like I really want you to come join me, you are correct....I do. I guess I am selfish in that I like to be able to enjoy time with you dancing, singing and playing music.

Your Dancin' DJ,
Marilyn :)

Report from Marilyn

Greetings Dancers:

Well, I had a great cruise on the Princess ship for the Bop Assoc. How could you not enjoy yourself when you are with a group of people who really like to swing dance. I then had the privelege of going to Disney World. I even took a behind the scenes tour of the Magic Kingdom. Quite a special place. Then proceded to the Kennedy Space Center for a full day of tours and amazing information. Tomorrow I will board the Royal Caribbean ship for a week with Doug and Lori Rousar for dance lessons daily with afternoon practices and evening dancing. I am having a wonderful time but I must confess....I really miss my friends and dance buddies at home. I will be returning Feb. 12th.

I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you. I will be at Donnie B's on Thursday 7-10. Friday Feb 17 will be how2dnc.country at the Moose in Decatur. I can hardly wait. I will probably be a little rusty. No worry, you will all help me out. Then Sat Feb 18 I plan on seeing all of you at the VFW in Spfld from 7-11 for a super time of dancing. Remember I will be playing a broad range of dance music for all of you. We will have a super time and I will expect hugs from all of you. All my love until I see you.

Sincerely,
Your dancin DJ Marilyn :)
