Yes, we are having lessons at the VFW tonight. At 6:30 I will teach a review of three dances done last year. These are easy fun beginner dances...My Girl Sally, Stray Cat Strut, and Jailhouse Rock. Get there early so you get the full instruction. At 7:00 I will review Good Morning and Honey Pie from this year, and teach a fun easy older dance called Red Hot Salsa. Also, you don't want to miss the really fun polka mixer we will be doing! Easy too!!!!   Bring your friends and get out of the house, We will warm you up real good. Marilyn will give instruction on basic steps for all types of dances while focusing on the principles of lead and follow. The environment will be social dancing and practice so that as a group we can improve our dancing skills and enlarge our dancing community. That being said, everyone qualifies. Rotation will help us to better learn to lead, follow, and help each other to learn. Cost $24 (per 4 Week Session) or $10 Weekly. Mark you calendars!! Lessons will start at 5:00-6:00. Dance practice will run from 6:00-8:00. My thoughts are that you can have a full Sunday looking forward to a time of dancing which will end early enough for you to get home and plan for the up coming week. Step Sheet Oh, I hope you are planning on Wed night! :)

Greetings Dancers:   Okay, enough of this winter stuff! I am sooo very happy that it has chosen to leave Wed evenings alone. My pansies are under a foot of snow but I am sure they are happy because they like the cold. I do not but I am happy because I get to dance with all of you.   Remember that we are starting at 6:30 so that we can practice dances that we did last year. If you haven't been able to come lately, come back anyway. We go over the dances often and we all miss you! We are having a lot of fun and doing some really neat dances. I have a Polka Mixer called Chi Balla Mixer planned for this Wed night that I know you will really enjoy.   Get there as soon as you can and stay as long as you can. Starts at 6:30 and ends at 10:00. See you at the VFW on Old Jacksonville Road Wednesday evening.   Boot Scootin' Boogie   Does this look like Spring or what? Yes!!!!!

Greetings Dancers:   Here are the dance sheets for the lessons that we had Wed. evening. I believe that I sent the others to you in an earlier email. Eventually, I will have a system. For now, I am doing well to get them scanned, find them in my computer and then attach them to send to you. I am willing to enjoy the journey of learning if you are. These can be helpful for many reasons.   I believe that the biggest reason is to remind you of how great you are to be learning and enjoying the sport of dancing. Wed March 6 VFW Line Dance Lessons 6:30-8 Open Dance 8-10

Special Announcement: All About Country Dance this Friday March 8 at the Decatur Moose 7-10. Hope to see you there! Greetings Dancers:   Here are the dance sheets for one dance we learned last week and two we will learn this week. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. We will review Sea Salt Sally and Just A Gigolo this week as well as a few of the ones we did last year. This is going to be and already has been a super year for lots of dancing fun.   Be sure and show up Wednesday evening at 6:30 to enjoy an evening of mutual fun on the dance floor. Bring your friends and learn some fun dances. The open dancing from 8-10 has lots of line dances, round or flow dances, as well as lead and follow dances. We learned reviewed Cotton Eyed Joe last week as well. Everyone was so happy because it was so easy. You have to have some of those easy ones once in a while so you can just have good old fun!   Call me if you are in question as to whether we have lessons or not depending on the weather. West Coast Workshop
