Millikin Monday night Line & Swing Dance Lessons 7-9

Greetings Friends: The Monday night Line & Swing Dance lessons are in the Parquet Room on the lower level at RTUC(Richards Treat University Center..located in the center of the campus East of the Fine Arts building) from 7-9:00. We will be doing Line Dances from 7-8:00 and Swing Lessons from 8-8:30 leaving a half hour to practice whatever we would like.    The weekly charge will be $5. Students from Millikin will be free. I would like to encourage as many of you as possible to come for the purpose of getting the students involved. Dancing has done many positive things for all of us, and I believe it is a perfect form of exercise, stress release, and socialization. This is why I have chosen to allow the students to join us at no charge. I have also chosen to charge on a weekly basis due to the financial stresses currently. Those of us who know and learn these dances easily due to our experience will be given the opportunity to share with the new people who will be joining us each week. This could make the classes more difficult, but I choose to believe it can make them more fun. No pressure......just desiring for everyone to have a good time. SPREAD THE WORD!!! Remember to mark your calendars for the how2dnc.country dances the rest of this year. The Decatur Moose, at 3190 N. Woodford, has a wonderful wood dance floor with lots of room for us to do all of our dances. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member to come to these dances. This is open to the public since I rent the room. Hope to see you there with your friends. The lesson starts at 7:00 and the dance runs to 10:30. Tuesday Night Donnie B's 7:30-10:30

Greetings Dancers: Hope to see you at Donnie B's here in Springfield located behind the County Market at White Oaks West. We fill and liven up the bar area with Line Dances from 7:30-8:30. Your mind, body and spirit will be exercised. Give yourself a treat that will give back to you. You will learn as you go. Starting next week, Oct 4, we will have a half hour lead and follow lesson from 8:45-9:15. This lesson will be West Coast Swing, Country Two Step, or Night Club Two Step. Beginners are welcome. Basics are our bedrock. The rest of our floor time will be requests and practice of all the dances we are learning. The cover charge will be $5 for the entire evening of lessons and dance time. Decatur Moose Friday Sept 16 Line Dance Lesson Included

LET'S DO IT DANCERS Meet me at the Decatur Moose Friday Sept 16 for an evening of good dancing and lots of fun. I will be teaching a Line Dance and we will review the two flow dances George and Sandy Washbond taught last week. Show up at 6:00 for Taco Salads  and drinks from the bar. No membership necessary. Remember that we have a really nice spacious wood dance floor with lots of room for whatever dance you choose to do. I will do my best to keep the dance floor full all evening. Greetings Everyone.....Yes it is time to get together on the dance floor at the Decatur Moose for some good dancing and chatting. I am so pleased to let you know that our very own George and Sandy Washbond will be teaching us a really nice dance they have choreographed plus review the dance they taught last time we met. We all really appreciate their teaching. See you Friday at 7:00. Come at 6:00 if you want to eat their good food. Remember that you do not need to be a member to eat, drink and dance with us. Marilyn :) OKay!!!! It has been Long Enough!!!     Missing All of You a LOT. What Can We Do About It? A LOT!!! Here are the dates for the rest of the year. Mark your calendars and watch for emails because we are going to have a super great time. September 9 & 16 October 14 & 28 November 4 & 18 December 2 & 9 Lesson will start at 7:00 promptly. Open dancing will start no later than 7:45. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member of the Moose to come to this dance. Bring as many friends as you like. We are going to have a dance Party. The Moose serves food on Friday nights. They suggest that you get there around 6:00 if you want to be certain to get anything on the evening menu. The bar is open to us all evening and their drinks are very reasonable. Plan on dancing until 10:30. I am so looking forward to getting back on our schedule.  See all of you real soon. Greetings Dancing Buddies: This weekend will give us a really good chance to do some moving on the dance floor to the best of music. Friday night I will be putting on the how2dnc.country. The cover charge is only $6. Don't pass up this opportunity to really enjoy the Decatur Moose's (3190 N. Woodford) wonderful wood floor. The room is big and full of good dance Chi. The mix of music will allow you to do your favorite Line Dances, Partner Dances and Lead and Follow. If you haven't made it yet, plan on joining the fun. We are all welcome at the Moose. They serve food from 5-7 and the bar is open to us all evening. Everyone who has come, has really enjoyed themselves. The lesson will be from 7-7:45. I will be teaching the Key Lime Pie Couple Dance. Remember, you do not have to be a couple to do these dances. If anyone wants to bring something Key Lime to share, please feel free to do so. Actually, you can bring anything you would like to share. I can bring the plates. We will review our dances from last time as well. Are you getting excited? I AM! I have the privilege of being the DJ for the monthly Tuscola Friendship Dance for June and July. This wonderful group of volunteers are there to make your evening as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Shirley plans all month making delicious treats for all of you. The snacks and drinks are included in the $10 cover charge. At 7:30-8:00 I will teach the same dance...Key Lime Pie. We will review the River Waltz for those who had other commitments last month.
