This Coming Sunday VFW Spfld. Old Jacksonville Rd Country Dance Jo is Back!!!!

Greetings Dancers:

I hope all of you have marked your calendars for Sunday, June 1, from 5:30-8:30 and plan on coming to the All About Country Dance at the VFW Old Jacksonville Road. There will be a $6 charge for the dance. All of our friends from Decatur, Jacksonville, Lincoln, etc. etc. etc. are welcome... welcome... welcome. I will play your requests. If you are in doubt as to whether I have the music...bring it along.

Jo Hays will be at the Sunday dance and also at the Wed Lessons at the VFW. She will be glad to see all of you. We will be glad to see her! Beginner lessons start at 6:30. Intermediate lessons and review will run from 7-8. Requests and open dancing will be from 8-10. I am going to teach a fun dance called Bump-N-Grind. So looking forward to seeing all of you this Wednesday.

Wednesday May 14, Line Dance Lessons 6:30-8, Open Dancing 8-10, Spfld VFW Old Jacksonville Rd

Greetings Dancers:

Looking forward to dancing with all of you tomorrow night at the VFW in Spfld on Old Jacksonville Rd. Our focus will be reviewing the easier dances during the first half hour. We have done quite a few newer dances so we will do a good amount of review from 7-8 also.

Bring your requests as well. A big thank you to Gerry for bringing us such a nice surprise last week. The cake was delicious!

Please mark Sunday, June 1, on your calendar. I am having a Country Dance at the VFW in Springfield on the Old Jacksonville Rd from 5:30-8:30. I will have a line dance lesson at 5:30 and open dancing the rest of the evening. Our good friend Jo Hays in going to be here and I would like for all of us to give her a good time. She is looking forward to seeing all of you. Everyone is welcome. Remember, that you can do all types of dances to the music being played. We will have plenty of room for Lead/Follow, Pattern Partner and Line Dances. Everyone is welcome to bring snacks to share!

I hope you will all join me spending an evening learning new dances and reviewing ones we already know and have forgotten. That being said....I am teaching two dances that have been out for a long time but are still being done often. One is called Dizzy and the other is Matador. Some of you have seen these dances and want to know how to do them. Tomorrow night we will learn them both. You will like them .....I know! We will review Penny Arcade and Toes.

Dancing Tonight at VFW Spfld on Old Jacksonville Road March 26

Line Dance Lessons begin at 6:30 focused on beginner dances. At 7-8:00 lessons will progress. None of you will have any difficulty doing these dances. Each individual has their own journey of progressing in their ability to dance. Having friends around us make the journey fun and easier.

Please consider doing yourself a favor and joining us. I have been able to download the other sheets that were missing last email. Requests are taken for the rest of the evening.
