Lessons Sept 30 VFW#755 Country Two-step and Night-club Two

Greetings Dancers: It has been a long time coming but I believe now is the time to start Lead & Follow Lessons. If some of you remember, we had a very fun and successful time with the Sunday evening lessons at Prairie Land. George and Sandy started us out with a series of Line Dance Lessons and look how we have all grown. Never to old to learn and grow....that is what I say anyway. We also made some great friendships. I have been able to convince the VFW#755 (Springfield)to allow me to rent the space Sunday evening after their big Bingo Sunday. There will be some room preparation but we are up to it. LET THE LESSONS BEGIN. The first series of four lessons will be Country Two-step and Night-club Two. As we did before, the lessons will be first and then we will have a practice dance time with a few requests thrown in. The goal is to have a good time and also improve our Lead & Follow dance skills. The first week we will all start at 6:00 and go until 9:00. The cost for the four weeks will be $24 per person. Look forward to seeing you. I would like to know if you are coming. All About Country Dance Friday Sept 28 Decatur Moose 7-10

Plan on joining us this Friday Night at the Decatur Moose..... George & Sandy Washbond teaching Luna-Moon , September 28th ALL ABOUT COUNTRY DANCE   Only $6.00 for a  Pattern Partner dance 7-7:30 pm Dance Lesson:  Luna-Moon and Dancing from 7:30-10 pm   Future Friday Night Dances at VFW#755 2211 Old Jacksonville Rd. Woodford Rd Decatur, IL September 28 October 19 November 30 These dances are open to the public at both locations!     We will dance to your favorite country songs and dance to your favorite music, and I will DJ, so if you have a request, let me know   We line or flow dance to almost every SONG..... but you can also 2 step, stroll, cha cha, waltz, swing, etc.   Hope you will join us....   The Decatur Moose has a limited menu and also pizza ordered at the bar. Hopefully..6:30 Review Penny Arcade and Toes New 7:00 Chica Boom Boom

Line Dance Lessons officially start at 7:00, but if you come at 6:30 we will go over Toes and Penny Arcade. These are dances that enjoy a few more opportunities to be gone over and over. We don't care!!!! Learning these dances is our form of pleasure and fun. During the lesson time, I will do a couple very easy beginner dances to help the new people learn easier and to make the others of us feel good because we can see that we are progressing. Right Then, we will review Country Walkin', Lil Yellow Blanket, and learn Chica Boom Boom. Yes, we can do it. Remember, the All About Country Dance this Friday will be in Decatur at the Moose, 3190 N. Woodford Street from 7-10:00. George and Sandy Washbond will be teaching a really nice Latin style flow dance called Luna-Moon done the the song Stand By Me with a Latin rhythm. Also, I will be starting lead and follow lessons this Sun at the VFW Spfld. Ask me about the lessons tonight. Marilyn :)
