My phone is on if you need to call me for more directions.  I will be teaching a Line Dance and we will review the Line Dance I Saw Linda Yesterday that George and Sandy Washbond taught last week. Show up at 6:00 for Walleye Dinner(fries & coleslaw included) or Chicken Finger Dinner  and drinks from the bar. The dance room will be open so you can eat in there. No membership necessary.   Since it is Halloween weekend, you are welcome to wear costumes if you enjoy wearing them.(I do not ) If you enjoy snacking on treats, you are encouraged to bring them and share if you like. I look forward to spending time with all of you on the dance floor and I enjoy your company and friendship. Remember that we have a really nice spacious wood dance floor with lots of room for whatever dance you choose to do. There is a $6 cover charge per person. I will do my best to keep the dance floor full all evening. The lesson starts at 7:00 and we dance until 10:00. Our Nov dates are the 4 and 18. Mark your calendars so we can count on seeing you. Millikin Lessons at SPEC tonight 7-8LD 8-9WCS

Greetings Dancers: Just a reminder for the Milllikin Lessons tonight. We are at the old location(SPEC) for tonight. Call me for directions at 836-1438. We will have Line Dance Lessons from 7-8 and West Coast Swing from 8-9. I have had requests to teach WCS so let's get together and learn a really fun lead and follow dance. Hope to see you there! Greetings Everyone.....Yes it is time to get together on the dance floor at the Decatur Moose for some good dancing and chatting. I am so pleased to let you know that our very own George and Sandy Washbond will be teaching us a really nice dance Line Dance. We all really appreciate their teaching. See you Friday at 7:00. Come at 6:00 if you want to eat their good food. Remember that you do not need to be a member to eat, drink and dance with us. We have a birthday to be celebrated with CAKE!!! See you Friday. Marilyn :) OKay!!!! It has been Long Enough!!!     Missing All of You a LOT. What Can We Do About It? A LOT!!! Here are the dates for the rest of the year. Mark your calendars and watch for emails because we are going to have a super great time. September 9 & 16 HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. LET'S DO IT AGAIN! October 14 & 28 November 4 & 18 December 2 & 9 Lesson will start at 7:00 promptly. Open dancing will start no later than 7:45. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member of the Moose to come to this dance. Bring as many friends as you like. We are going to have a dance Party. The Moose serves food on Friday nights. They suggest that you get there around 6:00 if you want to be certain to get anything on the evening menu. The bar is open to us all evening and their drinks are very reasonable. Great Weekend For Dancing

Greetings Dancers; Wanted to be sure you knew about the dance in Decatur Friday night, Oct 7, put on by Decatur Memorial Hospital to kick off National Breat Cancer Awareness Month. You are encouraged to wear Pink attire. The dance is called An Evening In Pink. This is a great opportunity to get to dance in the ballroom of the historic Decatur Club located downtown Decatur with a wood floor.  The address is 158 West Prairie Street. Kidd Kadillac & the Continentals Band will be playing a lot of 50's and 60's music. The dance is from 7-10:00 serving what they call Heavy Hors D'oeuvres for only $15 a person. You can buy your tickets at the door but a courtesy call to register would be appreciated. ( 217-876-2850) I plan on being there and look forward to dancing with you. Bring your friends and let's have a party. Some of us are lucky to be survivors of Breast Cancer. Each day we have is a gift. Then, if you are so inclined, Sat, Oct 8, you can head over to Savoy and enjoy an evening of club dancing, as David puts it. From 8-11 you can dance West Coast Swing, Night Club Two Step, Salsa, Bachata and ChaCha. He has a really nice facility and a nice bar. I plan on being there as well. Millikin Monday night Line & Swing Dance Lessons 7-9

Greetings Friends: The Monday night Line & Swing Dance lessons are in the Parquet Room on the lower level at RTUC(Richards Treat University Center..located in the center of the campus East of the Fine Arts building) from 7-9:00. We will be doing Line Dances from 7-8:00 and Swing Lessons from 8-8:30 leaving a half hour to practice whatever we would like.    The weekly charge will be $5. Students from Millikin will be free. I would like to encourage as many of you as possible to come for the purpose of getting the students involved. Dancing has done many positive things for all of us, and I believe it is a perfect form of exercise, stress release, and socialization. This is why I have chosen to allow the students to join us at no charge. I have also chosen to charge on a weekly basis due to the financial stresses currently. Those of us who know and learn these dances easily due to our experience will be given the opportunity to share with the new people who will be joining us each week. This could make the classes more difficult, but I choose to believe it can make them more fun. No pressure......just desiring for everyone to have a good time. SPREAD THE WORD!!! Remember to mark your calendars for the how2dnc.country dances the rest of this year. The Decatur Moose, at 3190 N. Woodford, has a wonderful wood dance floor with lots of room for us to do all of our dances. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member to come to these dances.
