West Coast Swing Lessons Starting June 2 Sunday 5:00 at VFW Spfld

Greetings Friends:   This Sunday, June 2, I will begin West Coast Swing Lessons with a practice dance to follow. Beginning Lessons will be from 5-6. During this time we will have basic moves and footwork with rhythm practice. You will have  music suitable for beginning dancers. The basics are the foundation of the dance which can be built on as we progress. During the next 45 minutes we will enjoy learning how to use our basics to create our dancing styles. This class from 6-6:45 will require that you know how to execute the basic steps Push Break, Left Side Pass, Right Side Pass, Starter Step, and the eight count Whip. The rest of the evening is for practice. Dancing to music using the things we have learned and having fun doing it. As we master some of the things we are learning, it becomes even more fun.   Class will be held June 2, June 9, June 16, June 23, July 7, and July 14. We will start at 5:00 and dance until 8 or 8:30.  It will be $36 for the whole series of lessons and the dance time. Location is the VFW on Old Jacksonville Road in Springfield.   Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
